Jane Anson

Nice florality and good lifted fruit that is quite briary but classy. A good future. 88 points

Chris Kissack

This is a blend of 51% Cabernet Sauvignon, 47% Merlot and 2% Petit Verdot. The yield was 33 hl/ha, and the alcohol is declared to be 14%. This feels dark and smoky on the nose, with scents of toasted pips and grilled berry skins. It has a rather bold, broad and solid substance on the palate, with touches of creamed red plum and red cherry stone, in an elegant and silky composition, resting on a rich bed of svelte and very tightly grained tannins. A fresh style, with lovely purity, good substance, and a fragrant lift, This is a real success for Bernadotte, surely one of its best vintages ever. 91-93 points
