The 2017 Puligny-Montrachet Village is a little fuller on the nose than the Meursault Village, featuring attractive aromas of hazelnut and orange pith – actually quite Meursault-like in style. The palate is well balanced with impressive concentration, especially for a Village Cru, and crammed full of green apples and pears. A light saline note emerges toward the satisfying finish. Excellent.91 points
