Freshly-tilled soil and rich red fruit; punchy aromas, very promising. The palate fulfills; superbly rounded, with fresh cranberry and strawberry fruit, liquorice and fresh herb complexity, a hint of oak-spice and extremely soft tannins - this is a lovely wine, a sublime example of approachable, medium-bodied Burgundy from the Chalonnaise. Excellent value, punhes above its weight. (JH 30/06/2021)
