The 2017 Bernard Moreau Bourgogne Blanc is slightly less generous that the 2016, and seems a little closed at first, but with some air starts to release subtle lemon and mandarin aromas. The acidity is very well balanced, and the citrus-dominant nose gives way to riper, stone fruit flavours on the palate, such as apricot, nectarine and white peach. There’s a subtle creamy richness and a good concentration of fruit, as well as a lovely long finish. Very moreish indeed! (RRS 03/11/2020)
