The 2016 Timorasso Sterpi presents more of a dried fruit and savory character next to the far more overt Costa al Vento. Sage, mint, dried apricot and almond are some of the many aromas and flavors that develop in this very pretty Timorasso. The Sterpi has a more structured, almost phenolic character that will be especially appreciated at the dinner table. I would give it another year or two in bottle to be at its best. 93 points
