John Livingstone-Learmonth

Full, dark robe, a black centre. The bouquet gives a neatly sweet aroma of black cherries, touches of licorice and soft flowers, along with its oaking. The palate is well in tune with the nose, carries an easy gras richness with mild tannins plugged in. This has a serene nature, is a stylish, well made St Jo, presses the pleasure button well. The fruit is pure, sensuous. The aftertaste is aromatic, floral in leaning, reveals a little oak. It’s close to ready, perhaps from mid-2018 to fine tune the finish. 13°. Drink to 2023-24 4*
