The 2015 Domaine de Rocheville Saumur La Dame is rather fresh on the nose, with lime zest and apple dominating the aromas. The palate is riper than the nose would suggest, with yellow stone fruit and a touch of pineapple. It is medium-bodied with a subtle vanilla richness and a somewhat viscous, almost honeyed texture that lingers on the palate. This is delicious alone or served alongside grilled fish or white meat dishes. (RRS 30/09/20)
