Stephan Reinhardt
From a small, steep, limestone vineyard just east of the Brand, the 2013 Riesling Heimbourg is still somewhat closed and untamed on the lemon-fruity nose. Austerely pure, mineral and fresh on the palate, this is a lean, bone dry and very challenging Riesling with grip and lemon flavors. Not easy to judge it at this stage, but it surely has the potential for a better score in the future. 89+ points
