Neal Martin
The Château Ferriere has a light redcurrant and strawberry scented nose that is clean but is missing some vigour. The palate is medium-bodied with supple tannins, decent weight with a grippy, slightly tannic finish and a saline aftertaste. This is one of the better Margaux wines this year. Tasted April 2014. 87-89 points
