Antonio Galloni
The 2011 Langhe Larigi wraps around the palate with dark red berries, mint, sweet spices and licorice. This is an especially silky, layered Larigi that should drink well right out of the gate. A blast of dark red cherries, raspberries and rose petals lingers on the finish. The 2011 is racy and opulent, very much in the style of the year. It should enjoy a long and broad drinking window. The 2011 has incredible purity, but it is very, very young. 94 points
