Now fully mature indeed, this is tasting more like an older Burgundy than ever. I`m tempted to decant this briefly before serving. Will accompany soft, ripe cheeses and rich veal dishes particularly well. (CW 29/07/16)

Lisa Perotti-Brown
The 2008 Tiers Vineyard Chardonnay gives intense notes of tropical fruits, pineapple and green mango, with supporting notes of fresh cream, acacia honey, meal and a sprinkling of crushed nuts. Medium bodied, it’s both refreshingly crisp and richly fruited in the mouth with a silken texture and a long finish. Drink it now through 2015. 91 points
