Allen Meadows
This is much more masculine and earthier with a broad range of dark berry fruit aromas, coffee, subtle wood spice, underbrush and a hint of crushed herb that slides into rich, full and relatively concentrated and powerful medium-bodied flavors that are round and supple yet quite focused on the harmonious and impressively long finish. This is a bit riper than any of the preceding wines and I like the sleek muscularity. Drink 2014+. 89-92points.
Sarah Marsh
Wonderfully structure; a compact acid/tannin balance forms the central core of the wine and rounded, ripe morello cherry fruit expands on the mid-palate. The texture of the mouthfeel is velvety and the there is lovely concentration running through the wine, yet is never feels weighty. Very fine. From 2010/2012.
