Jay Miller
The 2004 Cabernet Sauvignon was aged in French oak. Purple-colored, it offers up a superb nose of mineral, pencil lead, tar, black currant, and blackberry liqueur. Medium to full-bodied, there are layers of sweet fruit, complex flavors, a velvety texture, well-concealed tannins, and outstanding depth and length. So rich that it can be enjoyed now, the wine has enough structure to evolve for 6-8 years and drink well through 2025 if not longer. 94 points
