A central Speyside distillery, sited at the foot of the mountain Ben Rinnes. Although production is actually quite large, it is relatively unknown in its own right since almost all the production goes into the smarter blends. Nevertheless, it is well worth discovering. Unusually for a Speyside whisky, there`s a wee touch of peat to complement the more classically floral notes. Heather flowers on the peat moor. (NT 04/09/17)
