Robert Parker
In total contrast to the 2001, the evolved, medium-bodied, dark ruby-colored 2000 Cotes du Rhone Coudoulet reveals notes of chocolate, truffles, sweet cherries, garrigue, pepper, and spice. The acidity is crisp, and the wine is already drinkable. It should age nicely for 10-12 years. 88 points
