This already iconic Provence rose is made from cinsault, grenache, syrah and rolle (vermentino) picked and vinified together. The estate - indeed the village - is owned by Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie, but I think we can assume that it is the team managed by the Perrins from Chateau Beaucastel who do most of the hands on work. The vineyards are run on organic principles and the resulting wine is both a great accompaniment to food and has enough energy to drink beautifully on its own. (CW 14/04/15)
