This is the first year under this name - it used to be called Sur Gamay. It`s a ripe style, different from the en Remilly, more expressive, more mandarin, quite some richness and weight and still fresh. This is a great value wine to have when the senior Chassagnes aren`t in the budget. The St-Aubins here are no second cousins to the Chassagnes, but stand in their own right. (CW 05/11/2012)
