This course really does concentrate on tasting. Using five wines per session, we go deeply into texture, taste, aroma and flavour, including attempting to retrain your brain to access your smell memory bank and teaching you to taste like a pro. Learning to taste, to discriminate and to articulate your thoughts is now but a booking away. /CW

A fascinating region, currently in a storm of controversy about its place in the world. It is huge, producing more wine than Australia and has some of the poorest producers in France neighbours to some of the richest wine producers in the world. We will taste a selection of most of Bordeaux' styles across the range - though I can't promise you Lafite! /CW

Courses held at the Bishopsgate Institute must be booked directly with them. Booking for the Summer term is open. I recommend you join their emailing list to be alerted on the morning the new prospectus is released as winecourses seem to fill rapidly. All other courses may be booked directly with Uncorked Ltd.
