Affordeaux: affordable Bordeaux on tasting today

As half of the Uncorked team prepare for their imminent departure to taste the 2009
Bordeaux from cask next week, the remaining three (some might say 'less fortunate',
but let's not dwell) have to fulfil their hankering for claret elsewhere. So, we
thought, why not put some Bordeaux on tasting today. Bordeaux, what's more, that's
in sharp contrast to the 2009s: Bordeaux for drinking, not for cellaring for decades;
Bordeaux bought with old money, which makes it a comparative bargain today. Or,
as Colin likes to call it, "Affordeaux". And Jim, Andrew and Zoe can't
