The whites

2013 Terredora Greco di Tufo Loggia della Sera: Rich stonefruit flavours are cut with a dash of lime in this fresh southern Italian white. Drink it with vegetable dishes, or on its own. 
2013 Rustenberg Chardonnay: From South Africa, a Chardonnay that deftly blends oak and subtropical fruit flavours. The other end of the Chardonnay spectrum from Chablis. Ideal with those fish and chicken dishes that have a creamier sauce.
2013 Droin Chablis: Chablis stoniness meets surprisingly round, creamy fruit. Classic with fish and shellfish.
2011 Zind Humbrecht Riesling Calcaire: For many of us in the wine trade, Riesling is the noblest of white grape varieties, and Zind Humbrecht is one of the producers we are most proud to stock. From Alsace, he produces complex, biodynamic white wines. Perfect with Thai food, goats cheese and smoked salmon.

The lighter reds

2014 Domaine de la Chaponne Morgon Cote de Py: A light red, but exceptional minerality and energy from arguably Beaujolais' greatest terroir. Pairs deliciously with pan-fried duck breast.

2013 Le Soula Trigone Rouge: Not just fruit here, but notes of black olive and herb in a funky wine from the south of France. A great match with smoked meats and charcuterie.
2012 Cape Chamonix Pinot Noir Reserve: Currants, cranberries and hedgerow fruits are all evident in this well-crafted South African Pinot Noir. A beautiful match with either duck or spring lamb.
​2012 Rocca di Montegrossi Chianti Classico: An absolutely classic Chianti, with red cherry fruit and a touch of mushroom and herb. Lovely with meat-based pasta dishes like lasagne and tagliatelli Bolognese, or your artisan pizza.

The fuller reds

2012 Niepoort Drink Me: A brilliant red bursting with sweet berry fruit from one of Portugal's greatest makers. Burger and chips please!
2012 Killerman Run Shiraz/Grenache/Mourvedre: Black fruits, tar and anise, this is a great Australian rendering of a Rhone-style blend. Stick another roo on the Barbie, this is perfect for steak and juicy grilled meat.
2009 Mendoza Jarrarte Crianza Rioja: Big red fruit, cinnamon and vanilla, aged unusually for Rioja in French not American oak. Lovely with venison. 
2010 B de Biac: Bordeaux is a big part of what we do and B de Biac is ripe and plummy, bringing rich fruit and oak spice from the warm slopes of Cadillac. Put this beside your lamb stew or shepherd's pie.2009 Abel
