It's not often that the puritan streak of Uncorked staff is sufficiently restrained to allow such a sybaritic evening as we propose below. But it is August and London is turning into Paris, without the beach. Our friends with children have disappeared on holiday, leaving us to cope in their absence and we deserve a treat. And what a treat we have for you.

We have, over the previous three Augusts, tasted first vintage Champagnes, then non-vintage, and last year a vertical of Dom Perignon. This year we have assembled a diamond encrusted line-up of prestige cuvées (list below). From only the finest vintages and the most elevated houses, we are proud to bring back the bling, even if only fleetingly. Dress code gold, so make sure there's ice on yo wrist and you roll up on 22s. /CW
