One of the great vineyards in the natural amphitheater of Cornas is La Geynale. The fabulous 2010 Cornas La Geynale reveals noble, sweet blackberry fruit intermixed with bouquet garni, smoked game and hints of balsamic as well as Asian soy. With great fruit, terrific acidity and delineation, and a massive finish, it should be forgotten for 5-8 years and drunk over the following 20-25 years. 92-94 points
