Uncorked:

Neal Martin:

This has a more open nose with black fruits, raspberry leaf, cold tea and just a faint touch of oyster shell. The Cabernet dominates the palate (72% of the blend) with blackberry, bilberry and a touch of cherry towards the pointed finish. Not bad, but I hope it fleshes out during its élevage. Tasted March 2010. 87-89 points

Jean-Marc Quarin:

Showing a beautiful, quite intense dark color, this wine offers a ripe and fruity nose of moderate intensity. Nice entry on the palate. It then develops coated and creamy, with medium taste. It finishes over a slight austerity that should melt during barrel aging. 86 points

James Suckling:

Sweet berry and currant on the nose and palate, with hints of mint. Full-bodied, with velvety tannins and a long finish. This is like Lynch from the 1980s. This is made with more Cabernet Sauvignon than the old second wines of Lynch, and shows more class. 89-92 points
