Deep burnished gold. Probably the most subtle on the nose so far. richly nutty but with notes of orange and dried apricots. A hint of dark caramel and perfumed smoke. More dramatic on the palate, with the smoky/dirty socks of Lapsang Suchong. Finally a slight bitterness on the finish which is strangely refreshing. From www.janisrobinson.com.
