Uncorked:

A trick cask from a trick distillery. This isn`t a peaty operation normally, but this cask truly betrays the Islay terroir, enriched with a sherry cask. The dram still needs the judicious addition of water, but the complexity here and the weight don`t allow for that water to do anything but good. Fabulous stuff at a great price. (CW 20/03/12)
