Uncorked:

Mortlach in any incarnation is absolutely classic Speyside, but in this bottling it is almost a classroom example of the breed. On the nose sweet barley fruit and oaten notes cut with a dash of citrus predominate. In the mouth there is a lovely even texture, honeyed, soft, just a touch of spice and fudgy character.
