Uncorked:

It`s a first fill Bourbon cask, which means that it has as much vanilla character as you would want in a malt that is also floral, spicey and with a lovely malty, fruity flavour. It takes a bit of water to release its full complexity, then reveals its soft and civilised Speyside self. Recommended as an easy and exciting step up from blander distilliery bottlings. (CW 20/03/12)
