Allen Meadows:
Extract of cassis, earth, game and a certain animale character plus the same intense floral character of the Mazis introduces incredibly powerful, deep, broad, muscular and robust flavors that are vigorously structured, culminating in a chewy, long, explosive, texture, mouth coating and almost implausibly complex finish. This is a stunning wine, combining impressive power, depth and incredible length into a harmonious whole. A great, great Chambertin and one of the wines of the vintage that will age gracefully for two decades and probably more. Drink 2016+. 94-97 points
