Uncorked:
Vivid crimson colour, with a tight nose of cherries and raspberries. Powerful palate, with firm tannins, and bright fruit. Very concentrated, with a brightness from the fresh acidity. Long persistant finish, deft oak use adding a complexity. VV good. (PG 01/11/07)
Allen Meadows:
A more deeply pitched, brooding and distinctly earthy dark berry fruit nose introduces serious, dense and powerful flavors that, while not elegant, deliver excellent length. This is built to age as it`s a beast of a wine that is presently grumpy and austere. Drink 2016+. 89-91points
