Uncorked:

Ripe, more tannin, more richness, weight, even sweetness. A bit more pigeage done on this compared to the village so more palate weight, but no hint of ever extraction. (CW 04/11/10)

Allen Meadows:

(from Frionnes and Sur Gamay). This offers another step up in aromatic complexity if not necessarily much in the way of additional refinement to the earthy, ripe and pretty red berry fruit. The supple, round and attractively detailed flavors possess a bit more fullness and flesh, particularly on the dusty, firm and persistent finish. 88 points
