It`s nice to see a Chateauneuf producer emphasizing minerality rather than ramping up the extraction for the RP devotees of the world. Dried figs, garrigue and warm stones abound in this CNP from the less famous Sabon family. (05/11/2010)
Robert Parker:
The 2006 Chateauneuf du Pape Tradition possesses elegant strawberry and cherry fruit as well as plenty of resiny notes with roasted herbs and spice. It is a mid-weight, fresh, pure wine to drink in its first 7-8 years of life. 86-88 points
