Central America has given us many things, not least in the drugs department. But when times are hard, forswear the Bolivian marching powder and turn to Xocoatl*.

These are the most intense chocolates I have ever tasted; definitely for grownups and with so little sugar, probably suitable for diabetics, though don’t quote me on that.

Elegantly packaged in a boxed tub their signature salted caramel (ok, that one might have sugar in it!) is a perfect and economical indulgence in stressful times. And two nostrils are better than one.


* Aztec for chocolate according to Wikipedia, so probably wrong.
