Robert Parker:
A strong effort, the tannic, medium to full-bodied 2010 possesses good minerality, zesty acidity, admirable freshness and both blue and black fruits. With impressive depth and length, this pure Moulis should drink well for 15+ years. 88-90 points.
Jean-Marc Quarin:
Floral and fruity nose. Smooth on the palate with fruits and refined tannins. Average length. Slightly more mature fruit would have enhanced its qualities even further. 87 points
Ian D`Agata:
Candied cherry, smoke and sweet pipe tobacco. Sweet, lush and deep, showing good clarity and lift to its raspberry, black cherry and tobacco flavors. Finishes with mounting, somewhat harsh tannins. I am a huge fan of Chasse-Spleen (the 1962 is a marvel, for instance) but the tannins here worry me; hopefully, they will resolve over time in bottle. 86-89 points
