Capçanes is a brilliant co-operative near Barcelona that specialises in Garnacha based, baby Priorat style wines, but at affordable prices. This is a variation on a theme and has a very big dollop of Cabernet, adding structure and fruit to this great value bottle. Fresh, with good tannins and blackberry fruit, supported by restrained oak, this is a brilliantly versatile wine. (CW 05/03/12)
