Ripe and concentrated, this pretender to a serious crown shows what can be done in the less obvious areas of Bordeaux with the right investment. Not flashy at all, this classically cool and restrained wine nevertheless displays ripe fruit and lovely minerality and shows great cellar potential too. (CW 27/03/11)
