Light yellow. Deep, rich and honeyed, with powerful scents of ripe pear, apple and toasted nuts. A classic rendition of the house style, with serious weight and dense, chewy apple and pear flavors complicated by butter and toast accents. Finishes on a tangy note of orange zest. A really nice basic bottling. 89 points
