This is the second wine of one of our favourite Bordeaux and is a serious effort with all the structure and matter of the Grand Vin. 2006 is an overlooked vintage and this wine shows how unjust that is, when senior properties can make wines of this quality at a `prix juste`. Great clarety fruit and quality oak combine to make a perfect partner for that leg of lamb. (CW 10/09/10)
